As of May 2010, components continue to be migrated over to the thin-client architecture and new application modules are also added.
The suite currently includes modules for:- Weekly Time Forecasting

His responsibilities over the course of this project included the development of a new interface to Xamine from the bank's loan origination system and the model within Xamine to support the new data. He also developed ETL processes to convert the bank's historical data in the previous Information Warehouse to the new Xamine platform. Additionally, Mr. Watson developed a job scheduling process for the bank's operational department to automate the execution of the bank's multiple processing scheduling needs.
October 2006 - February 2007, Default Manager Interface - Internal Project
Mr. Watson worked with other teams management and technicians to design a reporting interface from Fidelity's Default Manager product to Xamine.
January 2006 - October 2006, Business Objects Data Integrator ETL Integration to Xamine
Mr. Watson researched several ETL products to select those meeting the needs of the Fidelity Xamine product. He compiled and distributed RFI's to eight corporations. He met with prospective suppliers as needed, summarized the responses, and provided thorough documentation of his findings to management and the team members. During the course of this project, Mr. Watson supplied estimates, created the design, began the development phase, and later led a team of other developers to complete the project.
August 1998 - January 2006, Harris Bank - Chicago, IL
Mr. Watson provided on-site application support and custom coding services for Harris Bank's primary data center in Chicago. He supported Fidelity's Information Warehouse product, which tracked data for all accounts from several hundred branch locations nationwide and provided data for the enterprise marketing & management departments. He also developed the center's custom project & time reporting system in 2001 and was responsible for maintenance and upgrades to that system. His daily duties included new application interfaces to/from the data warehouse, process automation, and peer training & mentoring.
Key Projects & Achievements
- Discovered an issue with vendor supplied census & postal directories resulting in invalid data being written to critical files. The client bank was running a release of the vendor's software that was no longer supported; the problem was apparently corrected in later releases. Developed a program to correct the invalid data, saving literally days of research time each month when the problem would typically occur.
- Tuned warehouse processing by optimizing code and programming points at which indexes were removed and created. Reduced monthly procesing by 20 to 25 hours per cycle.
- Continually receive performance ratings of "Role Model", exceeding management expectations and setting an example for peers.
